Register for Commencement
Applying for graduation and registering for commencement are two separate steps. While all students graduate, attending commencement is optional and has a separate registration process.
Spring 2025 Commencement Registration
Registration opens March 5 and ends March 23
Register on MyFIU during the registration period to secure your spot.
Commencement Pass and Tickets
Your commencement pass is your entry ticket to the ceremony. All students, except Ph.D., Ed.D. and DBA candidates, will receive their pass at the Commencement Fairs.
- Students must pick up their commencement pass during the designated Commencement Fair dates.
- Passes cannot be emailed or sent electronically.
- Confirm your attendance before attending the Commencement Fair.
Guest Tickets
Each graduate may purchase up to three additional tickets for $15 each.
- We recommend purchasing tickets only through MyFIU.
- FIU is not responsible for tickets purchased from third-party sources, as they may not be valid for your ceremony.
